Vietnam is the country with the most rice flour cakes

World Records Organization (WorldKings) has officially recognized 5 world records for Vietnamese cuisine based on the Vietnam Record Organization's registration records since early 2020.

Photos of the dishes will be posted on the organization's social media. This event is expected to help elevate Vietnamese cuisine in the world diners' eyes, attracting many tourists to Vietnam after the pandemic.

The first record is the country that owns the most dishes from broth and fiber with 164 plates and continues to be updated. Although located next to the cuisine powers such as Thailand or China, Vietnam is still proud of its heritage of vermicelli, pho, noodles... with the most variations.

Besides white rice, the most popular daily meals of Vietnamese people are string dishes. Each region from the North to the South has countless variations with its own local characteristics. Some typical dishes are beef pho, snail vermicelli, bun thang, fish cake soup, Hue beef vermicelli, Nam Vang vermicelli, Pleiku rotten crab vermicelli ...

Vietnam also owns the most fish sauce dishes and dishes from the world with 100 dishes. Vietnamese fish sauce dishes have a special taste, hold an essential position in the daily meal. Perhaps rare meals lack a bowl of dipping sauce with rich spices.

The famous fish sauce dishes that must be mentioned are fish sauce, shrimp paste, sour shrimp paste, ba khia sauce, fish sauce... in which the most prevalent variation is vermicelli with shrimp paste. The roll dish is easy to eat, lots of vegetables, fresh flavor, often dipped in chili garlic fish sauce, sweet and sour. Besides roll cake and roll salad, Hanoi's pho roll and southern grilled meatloaf are also popular with foreign customers.
