Sa Pa: Many activities to stimulate tourism in the summer of 2021
The People's Committee of Sa Pa town organizes a series of activities to stimulate summer tourism in order to prepare well for the holidays from April 30 to May 1, as well as the summer of 2021. The "Sa Pa Summer 2021" tourism stimulus program aims to actively respond to the negative effects of the Covid-19 epidemic on the tourism industry, thereby contributing to the stabilization and recovery of tourism growth in Lao Cai. Following the translation and formation of a tourism product chain to stimulate demand, create travel habits during the annual stimulus period, and increase the experience value for tourists.
On April 5, 2021, the People's Committee of Sa Pa town held a press conference to inform about Sa Pa tourism events and programs in 2021.
Opening the bridge stimulus activities, Sa Pa town hosted the first Mau Thuong Temple Festival Week (April 9-14, 2021) with a variety of special events.
- Mau Thuong Temple Festival, which includes 05 main events:
- 20h00 'April 9: Vietnamese Taoist exhibition space and the Chu Văn Singing Festival open at the Multi-Purpose House - Tourism Information Center, No. 002 Fansipan, Sa Pa Ward.
- 14:00 on April 10 and 9:00 on April 11: Canaval street "Ethnic groups of Sa Pa and Thanh Mau" along Sa Pa's main streets.
- 20h00 'April 10: Mau Thuong Temple Festival begins in the town courtyard.
- 20:00 'on April 11: Summary of Chau Van at the Singing Festival at the Tourism Information Center.
Mau Thuong Temple hosts a festival to practice Mau Worship on April 12-13.
- April 14: Folk sacrifice and incense offering at Mau Thuong Temple at 8:00 a.m.

In addition, the town People's Committee will work with the Sa Pa Tourism Association and the Fansipan Sa Pa Cable Car Company Limited to welcome Famtrip and Media Trip delegations in order to introduce products and promote tourism.
Sa Pa town is expected to create a spillover effect, promote the recovery of the domestic tourism market, and create a breakthrough to meet the Sa Pa tourism targets in 2021 through a series of organized activities.
