According to the signed agreement, National Assembly Television of Vietnam will strengthen coordination with Lao Cai province in information and propaganda work; ensure accurate, timely, effective and practical information content serving the common political tasks.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Television of Vietnam will pay attention to support Lao Cai province in communicating results of socio-economic development, foreign affairs, ensuring national defense and security and other activities of the province through the channels of the National Assembly Television of Vietnam to the public.

In the period of 2022 - 2025, the National Assembly Television of Vietnam will promote propaganda and the potential and strengths of socio-economic development of Lao Cai in the fields of border-gate economy, tourism, and high-tech applied agriculture; investment cooperation opportunities, the role of Lao Cai province in the Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic corridor; the role of Lao Cai province in the Northwest region and the northern midland and mountainous provinces, in which the project to build Lao Cai province becomes a “the growth pole, the center of economic trade connection between Vietnam and ASEAN countries and the Southwest region – China”; introduce and disseminate new and innovative ways of doing things in Lao Cai province; introduce Lao Cai culture and people; promptly orient information and public opinion, create trust and correct awareness among the People, ensure the stability and development of the locality, etc.

In addition, the National Assembly Television of Vietnam will also support the media agencies of Lao Cai province, including the Provincial Radio and Television Station, in sharing information resources, improving production capacity and quality of program content and the ability to collaborate with units of the National Assembly Television of Vietnam; speeding up the modernization, digitization and deployment of the digital ecosystem, etc.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Le Quang Minh, General Director of National Assembly Television of Vietnam, thanked the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee of Lao Cai province and departments, agencies and sectors over the years for creating favorable conditions for reporters of National Assembly Television of Vietnam to work in an effectively way in the area.

General Director Le Quang Minh also affirmed that Lao Cai province is a place with many potentials and strengths in terms of geographical location, resources, culture and tourism, etc. and with the strong determination of the local Party Committee, Government and people of ethnic groups, it is believed that Lao Cai will definitely overcome difficulties and complete the set goals. Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee and General Director of Vietnam National Assembly Television signed a media cooperation agreement.

The communication cooperation program between the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee and the National Assembly Television of Vietnam will be implemented from the time of signing to the end of December 31, 2025. Annually, the two sides will organize a preliminary review and evaluation, learn from experience in the implementation process and discuss and agree on cooperation plans in the next years.

On this occasion, General Director of National Assembly Television of Vietnam Le Quang Minh presented souvenirs to leaders of Lao Cai province; Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee also presented souvenirs to leaders of Vietnam National Assembly Television and the delegation.
