Jubilant Nghia Do Commune Nuggets Festival in 2022

On the morning of September 17, the People's Committee of Nghia Do commune, Bao Yen district held the Nghia Do commune nuggets festival in 2022.

Participating in the festival were 13 teams from 13 villages in Nghia Do commune. The teams receive rice to make nuggets at the nuggets kiln in Don village and perform the steps in the traditional nuggets process here. After the process of roasting the nuggets in the oven, the teams returned to the Muong Kem cultural house to proceed with the crushing and screening process, removing the husks... After the nuggets are done, the nuggets are wrapped by banana leaves or forest dong leaves into small packages. From simple traditional rice cereal, the competition teams processed many dishes with strong Tay cultural identity such as sticky rice, rice cake, fried rice, etc.

At the end of the contest, the delegates along with the people and tourists from all over the world carried the altar tray to Nghia Do temple to offer incense to give thanks to heaven and earth, the gods and the village's tutelary god gave people a bountiful harvest; At the same time, I pray that heaven and earth always have favorable rain, good wind, good luck in labor and production.
