Making speech at the opening of the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Vinh emphasized: Today, 19/5/2020, the 130^th anniversary birthday of o urbeloved President Ho Chi Minh, Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee held 3 meaningful activities, including: The delegation of key officials from the province reporting achievements to Uncle; broadcasting the documentary film “Engraved words of Uncle into heart”; holding a seminar on “Ho Chi Minh's thought on building a great unity block of the whole nation - contact Lao Cai province” in the form of live broadcast.

Over the past years, the Executive Committee of the province has always been proactive, creative and effective in studying and following Uncle Ho. The province actively innovates the method of organization, research and learning; select the stages, work which are of central and key nature, creating a substantive and pervasive change in social life.

After 4 years of implementing the Directive 05-CT/TW of Politburo, the province has achieved encouraging results. There have been 172,460 turns of officials, party members, voluntarily committed to set an example, cultivate and train morality; more than 4,000 idyllic but noble examples in many fields of the province are registered, honored and replicated; tens of thousands of meetings and talks between Heads of all levels with people and businesses were carried out; Many troublesome administrative procedures and staffing have been reduced. The promotion of learning and following Uncle Ho over the past years has created an impetus to make an important contribution to the overall development of the province. Recently, the spirit of solidarity of the whole nation continues to be strongly demonstrated in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, Provincial Party Committee Secretary affirmed: In the coming years, the whole Party Committee and people of Lao Cai ethnic groups continue to unite and unite more to overcome challenges and difficulties, determine to achieve the targets although they are difficult, arduous but very glorious ahead. At this conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee unanimously decided to select the theme of “Building a great unity block of the whole nation - contact Lao Cai” as the theme of following Uncle Ho in the whole Party Committee. Due to its importance and necessity of the topic, the Provincial Party Standing Committee exchanged, agreed and spent a lot of time so that Prof., Dr. Hoang Chi Bao were able to concentrate on presenting content in the deepest way, especially, will be more closely contact Lao Cai province so that officials, party members and people of all ethnic groups can easily study, absorb and follow.

In order to study and follow Uncle Ho is a practical, regular, daily task, Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, the Provincial Party Committee Secretary, asked the Party Committees at all levels to pay attention to fulfill a number of requirements: researching, applying and practicing Uncle Ho's instructions on building a great unity block for the entire nation strictly in accordance with the motto “the higher first, the lower after; inside first, outside after”. The improvement of the quality of research and study of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style in many diverse forms will be continued according to the Regulation No. 28-QD/TU. The party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front and mass organizations from the province at base level are interested in directing the study organization, thoroughly grasping the contents, learning requirements and following Uncle Ho. Promote the propagation of content about building a great unity block of the whole nation associated with propaganda of new models, good practices, typical in learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style.
