Vietnam - China border guard patrols for disease prevention and control on the border

On June 24, the Border Guard Command of Lao Cai province (Vietnam) and the Hong Ha Border Management Team, the Van Son Border Management Team, the Immigration and Checkpoints of Ha Khau, Ma Quan, Yunnan province (China) organized a patrol to prevent and combat illegal entry and exit and to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic on the border section in charge of the two sides.

At the border demarcation line of the international border gate of Lao Cai - Ha Khau, Colonel Tran Viet Huynh, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard Command of Lao Cai province, and Mr. Border management Hong Ha, discussed and agreed on the content and plan of patrolling to ensure the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The two sides established a patrol command, jointly established 10 patrol teams on each side (due to the complicated situation of the Covid -19 pandemic, this patrol did not exchange contact officers) joint law enforcement patrol on the border from the Landmark 87 area to the Landmark 172 area. During the patrol, the two sides distributed over 1,000 leaflets propagating border laws and disease prevention and control.

The patrol commanders of the two sides signed the minutes of the end of the patrol.

After the border patrol ended, the two sides' patrol commands reviewed the patrol work and informed the situation related to various types of crimes and the epidemic situation. In the coming time, the two sides will continue to maintain a good cooperation relationship, strengthen border and border gate management, promptly notify each other about the epidemic situation, propagate and educate border people. raise awareness of epidemic prevention and control, resolutely fight against illegal activities across borders.
