Bac Ha has a lot of potential to develop mountain climbing and experience tourism, but this is the new type of land for the "white plateau". The places to experience mountain climbing to watch the sunset, sunrise, hunting clouds, explore nature in Bac Ha are almost unknown to many tourists. Compared to many other places, the places to climb and experience in Bac Ha are easy to conquer, it can allow to go back in the day, suitable for the time and health of most tourists.Ngai Thau grass hill (Na Hoi commune) consists of many flat mountain peaks, along with highland-like meadow, about 3 km from the town center, which is the climbing destination chosen by many tourists to explore when traveling to Bac Ha. The road to travel by motorbike combined with walking with many steep slopes is a challenge that visitors must overcome when they want to explore Ngai Thau. The road is not too difficult to go because many rugged roads have been poured with concrete to ride motorbikes to the foothills. From the foothills, visitors can choose from many trails to climb to the top of the mountain. Coming here, I can go camping to watch the sunset behind the peaks and watch the sunrise in the next morning. One of the favorite places for tourists to explore when coming to Bac Ha is Song Lam waterfall in Ta Cu Ty commune. Song Lam Waterfall is about 6 km from the center of the commune, quite picky for tourists because the road is difficult, they mainly have to walk. Because it has not been exploited much, this place still retains the wild and majestic features. The waterfall is most beautiful in summer and autumn with clean water flowing through the primeval forest, pouring down from above, white foam. Ta Cu Ty commune has called for investment to awaken the potential and develop community tourism.
Besides, some high-altitude places in Hoang Thu Pho commune, Ban Pho commune are also visited by tourists to hunt for clouds. Red-leaved trees in Ban Lien commune, Ta Van Chu cave, Co Tien mountain, Ba Me Con mountain ... are the places to experience that many tourists like when coming to Bac Ha. Mr. Bui Van Vinh, Head of Culture and Information Department of Bac Ha district said: In the coming period, tourism is identified as one of the breakthrough stages of Bac Ha district with the goal of welcoming 1 million visitors, revenue from tourism will reach 1,000 dong, tourism will account for 12.3% of the economic structure by 2025. “Bac Ha district is promoting the development of the number of new tourism products to attract visitors. Climbing, exploring and experiencing tourism are types of tourism with great potential but not yet effectively exploited. We expect strategic investors to pay attention, make survey, and invest so that Bac Ha tourism can develop equivalent with its potential," Mr. Vinh said.
