Bac Ha Winter Festival coming soon

Recently, Bac Ha District People's Committee has issued plan No. 317/KH- People's Committee on organizing the Bac Ha Winter Festival with the theme "Dance of the White Plateau in 2021".

Accordingly, the 2nd Bac Ha Winter Festival will take place in 3 days, from December 10-12, 2021. This year's Bac Ha Winter Festival will have many interesting activities, such as: Rose and Wine Festival; Bac Ha tourism beautiful photo exhibition; Culinary contest with the theme "Bac Ha dinner table"; demonstration of traditional crafts; Bac Ha night market; National heritage announcement ceremony for 2 heritages (Horse racing festival and decoration of patterns on Bac Ha flower Hmong costumes), and at the same time, announcement of decision on ranking provincial-level relic for Bac Ha Temple. After the announcement ceremony, at 9:30 a.m. on December 12, at the district center stadium, there will be the horse racing performance to welcome the heritage.

This is the second year Bac Ha organizes the Winter Festival with a series of events imbued with the traditional cultural identity of the local ethnic groups. Through the Festival, in order to create and enrich tourism products, contributing to attracting tourists to Bac Ha. At the same time, preserving, exploiting and developing traditional sports, unique cuisine of ethnic minorities in communes and towns in the direction of building advanced and rich Vietnamese culture.

This is also unique cultural, sports and tourism activity to stimulate demand and attract tourists to Bac Ha after being heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism sector./.
