Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh diplomatically welcomed the delegation of Lao Embassy

On the afternoon of May 26, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had the diplomatically meeting with the delegation of the Lao Embassy in Vietnam led by Mr. Shengphet Hung-bunnuong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam as the Head of the delegation.

Participating in the delegation were the representatives of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association.

Participating in the delegation were the leaders of a number of departments, divisions and branches of the province.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh diplomatically welcomed the delegation of Lao Embassy.

At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh informed a number of socio-economic development achievements, introduced the potentials and strengths in tourism, minerals, export - import of the province; results of bilateral and friendly cooperation with the border province of Yunnan, China and development orientation of Lao Cai in the coming period. He highly appreciated the friendship, tradition, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam in general, Lao Cai in particular and Laos. He hoped that in the coming time, Lao Cai province and Laos would have more programs and activities of cooperation, friendship exchanges, mutual support for mutual development in all sectors.

Mr. Shengphet Hung-bunnuong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam gave souvenir gifts to Lao Cai province.

Mr. Shengphet Hung-bunnuong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam on behalf of the Delegation thanked Lao Cai province for the sincere and respectful welcome. Before the socio-economic development achievements of the province, the Ambassador wished to share and learn experiences, especially models of border management, boundary markers, import and export activities at the border gate of Lao Cai to help the northern border provinces of Laos develop more. The Ambassador also emphasized: Lao Cai has been helping many international students from Laos to live and study conveniently in the province. After graduation, this team will be positive factors, contributing a lot to help Laos develop more.
