Watching the beauty of "the most beautiful flower" of Ky Quan San mountains and forests

Known as the "roof" of Bat Xat district, the 4th highest mountain in Vietnam and the 2nd highest mountain in Lao Cai after Fansipan, Ky Quan San (formerly known as Bach Moc Luong Tu) is one of the "great peaks" of Hoang Lien Son range when it brings the majestic, wild and mysterious beauty of the great mountains.

The most interesting thing when conquering Ky Quan San at the end of April or early May is to see the azaleas in the blooming season, beautifying the mountains and forests. With graceful and magnificent beauty, azaleas is known as the "the most beautiful flower" or "flower queen" of Hoang Lien great mountains.

Travelling against the steep rocky road with dozens of large and small peaks in succession to the height of 2,000m onwards, you will admire to watch the blooming forest azaleas.
Azaleas on Ky Quan San mountain are hundreds of years old. Trunks and branches all year round are squishy, but in the blooming season the flowers are brightly colored
The higher you climb, the more azaleas trees grow, forming a forest patch in some places.
As the flower with intense vitality, even on steep rocky cliffs, azaleas can still grow very well.
According to statistics of the functional sector, there are hundreds of azaleas species on the Hoang Lien Son range with different colors and big and small flowers. Ky Quan San also has those characteristics (In the photo: Golden azalea flowers blossom a lot on the top of Ky Quan San).
