The opening ceremony of the Festival "Essence of the Northwest - Flavors of Lao Cai" in 2022 will be held at 8 pm on August 6, 2022 at Quan Stadium - Sa Pa town with special art program, praising the beauty of the land and Lao Cai people, honoring the unique and typical culture of the Lao Cai ethnic groups. Affirming that Lao Cai is the different destination; where tourists from all over the world gather, meet with beautiful nature, friendly and hospitable people.

This is the first tourism promotion event held on the whole Lao Cai province in order to stimulate domestic tourism demand, strengthen cooperation and promote tourism among provinces in the cooperation group of 8 Northwestern provinces.
