Bat Xat: On August 13-14, there will be paragliding, SUP rowing, and Camping performances

In 2 days (June 10 - 11), the Culture and Information Department of Bat Xat District coordinated with the of Paragliding Club and Vietup Travel Company to organize a survey flight and agree on the content of the paragliding, SUP rowing, Camping performances with the theme “Flying in the golden season”.

These are 3 contents within the framework of Bat Xat District Autumn Festival in 2022.

The Organizing Committee survey the location of paragliding take-off.

After the survey, based on the wind direction and wind level, the Organizing Committee determined the paragliding take-off point at the top of Sin Cho hill, Den Thang commune; 2 landing points at the area behind the People's Committee of Sang Ma Sao commune and the yard of the Cultural House of Lang Moi village, Sang Ma Sao commune. It is expected that 20 pilots will participate along with 30 flight support members.

Pilots have successful paragliding survey flight.

In order to organize a safe and effective paragliding performance, the Program Organizing Committee has developed a detailed activity plan. Accordingly, the Department of Culture and Information of the district will organize, and coordinate with the People's Committees of Muong Hum, Sang Ma Sao and Den Thang communes in directing the renovation of the take-off and landing grounds (cutting grass, clearing trees, obstacles, creating space) to create a running track for pilots and arrange forces to ensure rescue work.

SUP Rowing and Camping activities will take place in Muong Hum commune, in which SUP rowing at Muong Hum hydropower reservoir with about 20 athletes participating in the performance.

The activities are expected to take place on August 13-14, 2022.
