Propose solutions to develop new tours connecting Lao Cai - Ha Giang

On the afternoon of September 18, in Bac Ha district, the Department of Tourism of Lao Cai province in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province held a workshop to evaluate the feasibility and propose solutions to develop a new tour linking Si Ma Cai, Bac Ha (Lao Cai) with Xin Man (Ha Giang).

Attending were leaders of Lao Cai Department of Tourism, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province; Standing People's Councils, People's Committees of Xin Man, Si Ma Cai and Bac Ha districts; more than 60 delegates from 16 news agencies, newspapers and 30 travel agencies.

At the workshop, participants were introduced to an overview of the tourism potential of Bac Ha and Xin Man districts; assess the advantages, difficulties and feasibility of developing a new tour linking the two provinces of Lao Cai and Ha Giang.

The delegates discussed, proposed and recommended solutions to build a new tour linking Si Ma Cai, Bac Ha with Xin Man, which focused on assessing potentials, advantages, disadvantages, completing the general planning, building infrastructure to catch the trend, calling for investment and designing tours and routes suitable to needs, interests, habits ... to bring a truly attractive experience to visitors. At the same time, the delegates proposed to strengthen the promotion of tourism potentials of the two localities; coordinate between management agencies, investors, travel agencies and media so that new tours are formed and developed.

The delegation stopped at a tourist site in Nghia Do commune, Bao Yen district.

Before that, the delegation had a 3-day 4-night famtrip to tourist attractions of Lao Cai and Ha Giang such as: Fairy waterfall, Gio pass, ancient stone beach, Coc Pai night market, Suoi Thau steppe (Xin Man). Can Cau market (Si Ma Cai district), Hoang A Tuong palace, Lien vilaage, fair, night market, flower valley (Bac Ha), Nghia Do (Bao Yen).
