Lao Cai Provincial Military Command - Bo Keo Provincial Military Command (Laos): Talks and signing of twinning agreement

Implementing the working plan in Laos, from October 20 to October 24, the Military Command of Lao Cai province and the Military Command of Bo Keo province - Lao People's Democratic Republic held talks and signed a twinning agreement between the two units.

At the meeting, based on the previous documents, the two sides continued to discuss, assess the situation and agree on the contents of the twinning. Accordingly, the twinning activities between the Lao Cai Provincial Military Command and the Bo Keo Provincial Military Command ensure the correct guidelines, policies and strategies of the two Parties, the two States and the two armies, between Lao Cai and Bo Keo provinces. The two provincial Military Commands regularly exchange information about the area; assist each other in military and defense activities, build a strong and comprehensive local armed force; foster and train professional skills; prevent natural disasters; mobilize people to exchange between delegations. In addition, it is necessary to focus on propagating and educating cadres, soldiers and people of the provinces about the tradition of special solidarity, the steadfast and loyal friendship between Vietnam and Laos, between the armies of the two countries and the traditions and development of the two provinces.

At the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong, Political Commissar of Lao Cai Provincial Military Command and Lieutenant General Sai Chay Khom MaSit, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Governor, Chairman of Bo Keo Provincial Defense and Security Committee informed about some highlights in socio-economic development and activities of the Military Commands of the two provinces.

Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong hopes that the leaders of the Bo Keo Provincial Military Command will continue to lead agencies and units to exchange information and hold regular meetings to proactively do a good job of advising local Party committees and authorities in building political bases, building armed forces, defense zones, and consolidating national defense and security; increase the exchange of experiences in economic, cultural, and social development; properly conduct mass mobilization work; be proactive and active in extensive propaganda work and effectively promote the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, contributing to building and consolidating the solidarity of "friendship, cooperation, and mutual development".
