Vibrant Folk Culture Festival of schools in Nghia Do commune cluster

In the morning of April 29, at Nghia Do cultural market yard (Bao Yen district), the Folk Culture Festival of schools in Nghia Do commune cluster took place with the theme "Fragrance and colors of the homeland - Celebrating the reunification day".

The festival was attended by nearly 500 students from 10 schools of 3 levels (preschool, primary and secondary school) in the communes of Nghia Do, Vinh Yen and Tan Tien.

After the special performance by students from local schools, people and tourists were able to participate in many attractive cultural and sports activities including: performing traditional Tay art performances that praise the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the country; presenting and promoting the cultural values, landscapes, people, and unique features of Nghia Do commune; contesting the competion of wearing the headscarf of Tay women in Nghia Do; sticks pushing and tug of war contest among students from schools in the commune cluster.

The festival was a success and left many good impressions on the locals and tourists. The activities at the festival not only created opportunities for the local youth to understand, love and be proud of the national culture, but also contributed to introducing and promoting the cultural beauty of the local people to tourists from all over the world. This plays an important role in the development of community tourism of the locality.
