Book and Reading Culture Festival 2025

On the afternoon of April 23, at the Muong Khuong District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, the Provincial Library coordinated with the Center for Culture, Sports and Communication, the District Youth Union and the Muong Khuong District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities to organize the Book and Reading Culture Festival in the system of libraries and cultural houses in Lao Cai province in 2025, with the theme "Reading culture – Community connecting".

More than 500 staff and students attended the festival.

Attending the festival, more than 500 cadres, teachers, students, secretaries of the Youth Union and delegates participated in many meaningful activities such as: Opening the Digital Library of Muong Khuong District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities; launching the Lao Cai Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025 in schools; answering questions about history combined with donating more than 60 books and stories; donating 50 books to the school library; displaying and exhibiting books about Lao Cai, documents about the Dien Bien Phu Victory, about President Ho Chi Minh; displaying winning entries at the Lao Cai Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in previous years.

At the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the Art Book Stacking Competition to teams from different grades of Muong Khuong District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities. As a result, the team from grade 11 won the first prize in this competition.
