Exciting mountain bike race at Ban Lau.

On the morning of May 24, the Open Mountain Bike Race took place in Ban Lau commune, Lao Cai province, in a vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to watch and cheer. The tournament brought together 174 athletes from 17 amateur and professional teams nationwide, creating exciting competitions.

 

This year's competition features participation from many strong mountain biking clubs from Hanoi, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho, and other localities with developed mountain biking movements.

The tournament brought together 174 athletes from 17 amateur and professional teams across the country.

According to the organizers, the race was prepared professionally, focusing on both technical skill and safety. The entire race route was thoroughly surveyed; rescue, emergency response, and medical teams were stationed on standby to ensure the safety of athletes and spectators throughout the event.

The highlight of the tournament is the race course, designed to make the most of the unique natural terrain of the Ban Lau border region. Steep slopes and sharp turns pose a significant challenge for the racers, requiring excellent driving skills, physical fitness, and situational awareness.

The race track in Ban Lau commune is considered both challenging and highly experiential.

According to many athletes, the race course at Ban Lau is both challenging and full of experiential value, perfectly suited to the spirit of mountain biking: conquering nature and pushing one's limits. This is also a factor that helps the race attract an increasing number of professional and amateur athletes.
