The opening session of the XVI Provincial Party Committee's Congress officially started
This morning, October 15, at the Provincial Conference Center, the XVI Provincial Party Committee's Congress, the term 2020 - 2025 opened solemnly, with the participation of 348 official delegates from 14 affiliated Party committees, representing over 49,000 party members in the entire provincial Party. The Congress has an important task of evaluating the implementation results of the Resolution of the XV Provincial Party Committee's Congress, setting directions, goals, and tasks for the next 5 years and the following years.The congress was conducted under the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", with the theme: “Build a clean and strong Party and political system; promote the strength of the entire people, solidarity, democracy, innovation and integration; effectively exploiting potentials and advantages to make Lao Cai continue to be a developed province of the Northern Midlands and Mountains ”.
In particular, the congress has the task of electing the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in the next term to lead the successful implementation of the local political tasks.

In the past 5 years, the average economic growth has reached 9.08% / year.
