Opening the Center for Public Administration of Lao Cai province

On October 14, Lao Cai province held the Opening Ceremony of the Center for Public Administration of Lao Cai Province to promote administrative reform, build an e-government, and create favorable conditions for the organization, individual handling administrative procedures.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Dang Xuan Phong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, and leaders of departments, branches and localities throughout the province.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Chairman Dang Xuan Phong affirmed: Over the past years, with the whole country, Lao Cai province has made many efforts in administrative reform, especially the administrative procedure reform. In 2019, the PAR INDEX of Lao Cai ranked 15th out of 63 cities and provinces; PAPI index ranked 13th out of 63 provinces and cities. It showed that the implementation of the administrative reform, focusing on the reform of administrative procedures gradually implemented synchronously and effectively. 

In order for the Lao Cai Provincial Public Administration Center to operate effectively, in the coming time, the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee requests: The Center will perform well the task of guiding, receiving and returning the results of administrative procedures. Each officer and employee working at the Center must always uphold the spirit of service, have the responsibility to guide, help, and create maximum convenience for people and businesses. Agencies and units need to coordinate closely with the Center to simplify administrative procedures, ensure quality results and on time.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Public Administration Service Center will have 15 days of trial operation of technical systems, management software, administrative procedures settlement and officially put into operation on November 2, 2020. /.
