Support wings for sublimation emotions

In the 58-year history of Lao Cai Newspaper, there has been a publication that, despite its "late birth," it has contributed spiritual food, enriching the cultural lives of devoted readers. This is also an intellectual playground for writers who are rich in literary emotions, leading to new compositions for readers. It is the weekend publication of Lao Cai newspaper, which is regarded as a place to give literary emotions wings to be sublimated.
Many cultural and artistic activities are emotionally stated through each work

Lao Cai newspaper's weekend publication comes to readers gently, deeply, and rich in literary materials thanks to the participation of compositions: poetry, short story, prose, pen signature, reportage, art photo... Aside from the editors' writers, the main contributors to the weekly newspaper's literary and artistic side are well-known writers and poets such as Ma Van Khang, Po Sao Min, Doan Huu Nam, and others, as well as writers from various professions and fields in the province and throughout the country. In particular, in addition to literary creation, Lao Cai at the weekend also has a section "Moments" - a land for photography art lovers, attracting a large number of collaborators who are both professional and amateur photographers. Many of the authors who worked with Lao Cai over the weekend have written award-winning books, poems, and literature about photography that have been well received by readers. Weekend readers of Lao Cai newspaper are confidants, enthusiastic "supporters," and a bridge to bring many literary and artistic works to readers.

Doan Huu Nam (Lao Cai Provincial Literary and Arts Association) revealed: "Writers, whether literary or journalistic, professional or amateur, would like their work to be read." That is the profession's aspiration and characteristic, as well as each writer's creative motivation. Authors must introduce their work through media channels in order to achieve this goal. Weekend Lao Cai newspaper is one such outlet for those working in the fields of literature and art in Lao Cai's borderlands. Specifically, the exploitation and promotion of literature - art pages, attracting the majority of literary and artistic creators in the province and throughout the country.

According to Hoang Anh Tuan (a police officer at Lao Cai Provincial’s Public Security), the Lao Cai weekly newspaper has helped to nurture the poetic soul, so that a police officer at the grassroots can write poetry, short story writing and composition better. At the weekend, poet Hoang Anh Tuan reminisced about his early days of "befriending" with Lao Cai newspaper: "I published my first poem "Pho Rang Recall" in 2012. Since then, I've discovered a new joy: opening the Lao Cai newspaper on the weekend with a strange thrill and excitement. The ink on the newspaper page smelled like paper, and the fragrant words were presented beautifully. The characters and words take me to parts of the province I've never visited before, introduce me to people I've never met before, and no matter how far away and strange they seem, they become close, lovable... My work, which was published in the Lao Cai newspaper over the weekend, has given me more inspiration and passion for writing, as well as motivated me to work toward becoming a member of the Vietnam Writers' Association.

Unlike those who work in the field of literature - art, author Nguyen Van Tong (retired officer in Lao Cai city) participated in submitting a collaborative article from the love of Lao Cai newspaper at the weekend. Author Nguyen Van Tong wrote many vivid journalistic reflections and notes in addition to literary works. For him, the excitement of each week is anticipating the arrival of the new issue of Lao Cai at the end of the week. Not only is author Nguyen Van Tong eager to read the issue of diverse genres, rich in color, many literary and artistic works, but he also has a very simple reason to see if his article is published or not. Despite his advanced age, author Nguyen Van Tong revealed: "Despite his advanced age, many articles have been published in newspapers, central magazines, and provincial art magazines, but with Lao Cai newspaper at the weekend, it is still a constant expectation in me and my family." It is also an encouragement for me to become more "engaged" in my passion for writing literature and journalism, which I am doing by actively collaborating with Lao Cai newspaper on weekends.

Author Bui Viet Phuong (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hoa Binh Newspaper) expressed his affection for a publication with which he frequently collaborated by chance knowing Lao Cai newspaper at the weekend from a friend and becoming a favorite reader of Lao Cai at the weekend: When holding a print publication with sharp print, professional design, open layout, and many categories: Story of the week, Living space, Young rhythms, Around the world, Legal life, Vietnam, my homeland, Lao Cai heritage... I was quite impressed. But the most interesting and appealing is the literature - art page, where the poets' emotions are received by writers and poets from within and outside the province. Also, because the "limitation" of works is of high quality according to weekend criteria, I consider myself fortunate to have been chosen to publish my works in the Lao Cai newspaper over the weekend.

With 12 colorful pages, soft voice, Lao Cai weekly newspaper affirms the selection, editing and publishing of a journalistic publication, ensuring quality, diverse content, and rich writing style. Lao Cai weekend is really a beautiful publication and a precious friend to collaborators from outside the province like me "- author Bui Viet Phuong confided.

For nearly 16 years with readers, Lao Cai weekly newspaper has been winning the hearts of readers, affirming an important position in journalistic life as well as literary activities so that many writers have the opportunity to write their own emotional sublimation.
