Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong inspects the resettlement project of Sapa Airport

On the morning of November 4, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee went to inspect the site of the resettlement project of Sa Pa Airport in Cam Con commune, Bao Yen district.

Accompanying were leaders of the Department of Transport - Construction, leaders of Bao Yen district.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong listened to the project progress report.

The resettlement area of Sa Pa Airport is located in Cam Con commune, Bao Yen district with a total investment of 409.9 billion VND, including two phases. Phase 1, invest in building a road 3.5 m wide and 7.5 m wide, with a total length of 2.64 km; building a network of water supply and drainage pipes, electricity and lighting. Phase 2, invest in construction of technical infrastructure works within an area of 125.6ha, including roads in the production and resettlement areas with a total length of 12.88km; building a network of water supply and drainage pipes, electricity and lighting. In addition, there are items to build a bypass route of Provincial Road 151C with a length of 7.56 km and move electric lines in the airport area.

After completing phase 1, the contractor handed over to the investor for residential arrangement. Currently, the construction unit is accelerating the construction progress of phase 2 to hand over according to the signed contract.

Reporting to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong, the leader of Bao Yen district said that the project progress is still well controlled, the district has directed relevant units and local authorities to do a good job of propagating, mobilizing, creating a high consensus among the people, thereby soon agreeing on the compensation plan to hand over the site to the contractor. Leaders of Bao Yen district also reported a number of problems arising in the process of site clearance and infrastructure construction of the resettlement area.

After listening to the report of the leader of Bao Yen district, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong asked Bao Yen district to proactively accelerate the progress of the items under the responsibility of the district; well manage construction planning in resettlement areas; coordinate with relevant departments and agencies in reviewing and reporting to the province on problems arising in the implementation process, if they are not suitable with reality, they must make adjustments./.
