This is the first time, Lao Cai province launched an emulation movement on Digital Transformation.

Accordingly, in the period of 2022-2025, priority should be given to promoting the emulation movement of digital transformation in a number of areas such as: Administrative reform in association with building e-government, towards digital government; Agriculture field; Commercial field; Tourism field; Financial - banking field; Transportation and logistics field; The field of natural resources and environment; Medical; The field of education and training; Defense and security field.

Boosting the development of innovative enterprises; thoroughly applying digital technology to change the models, processes and products of enterprises and be competitive in the market. Mobilizing resources to invest in upgrading equipment infrastructure and synchronous and modern applications ready to meet the needs of people and businesses. Building and creating open data for people and businesses to exploit, access, use, contribute to publicity and transparency, prevent and fight against corruption, and promote socio-economic development of the province. Ensuring network safety and security; building and deploying a system of monitoring and early warning of risks, coordinating response to incidents of insecurity and network security. In 2020, Lao Cai ranked 32nd out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of digital transformation thanks to the constant efforts of departments and agencies in the province.
