Experience harvesting Tai nung pears in Nam Pung Commune

On July 3, at Kin Chu Phin 2 village, Nam Pung commune, the People's Committee of Bat Xat district held a festival to experience harvesting Tai nung pears in 2022.

This is the first year that the People's Committee of Bat Xat district has organized the Tai nung pear festival, which is part of a chain of tourism and service activities associated with preserving cultural values and consuming agricultural products for the people. 

Leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association highly appreciate the new of farmers in Nam Pung commune, contributing to creating typical agricultural product brand of Bat Xat district.

The festival took place many interesting activities such as pear-picking contest among villages; visiting and experiencing pear gardens of farmers in Nam Pung commune; showing some products made from Tai nung pears….

Currently, Bat Xat district has nearly 290 hectares of Tai bybg pears, which are grown in many highland localities. Over the years, Tai nung pears have helped many households in Nam Pung escape poverty and get rich.

Cultural colors of ethnic minorities in Nam Pung commune during the festival

During the festival, there were many cultural, artistic and sports activities such as dance, ethnic singing; tug of war, stick push; exploring the life and culture of ethnic minorities in Nam Pung commune.

Cultural and artistic activities rich in national identity took place, attracting the attention of locals and tourists.

Through the festival to gradually create attractive new tourism products, associated with highland agricultural experiences, temperate agriculture and traditional culture of ethnic minorities in Bat Xat district; contributing to promote tourism image of Bat Xat district to domestic and foreign tourists; attracting organizations, enterprises and individuals to invest in and participate in business, service and tourism activities in the district.
