Right on the route from Lao Cai city to Sa Pa town, visitors can admire the fertile terraced fields at Ba Dinh Bridge,Cau Can. Leaving the pass to go to the center of Sa Pa town, you will see countless terraced fields along the mountainside of Ban Den in Ban Ho commune, Muong Hoa valley in Ta Van commune, and a little further is Lien Minh commune, Muong Ho commune. In Muong Ho commune, rice has begun to turn yellow. 

Visitors only need to spend a day to admire the beauty of the terraced fields of Sapa. According to local people, the rice terraces have different ripening times and usually the watershed area will ripen later. Therefore, if you want to conquer the golden rice fields, hurry to Muong Ho commune, Lien Minh commune first because the people here have started harvesting. Visitors can spend an entire morning here sightseeing or taking photos. The terraced fields in Muong Ho and Lien Minh are characterized by low terraces, the fields are located right on the side of the road and therefore, visitors can stop the car to take pictures right next to the golden fields. The road is quite convenient and the people here are also quite friendly when they see tourists taking photos of their fields.

Mr. Phan Phu Seng, Chairman of Lien Minh Commune, said that the terraced fields here ripen earlier than the watershed, the time to harvest rice starts from mid-August. Therefore, visitors should come here from mid-August to be able to take pictures of the golden rice season. The nature here is also very beautiful, the mountains are overlapping, the scenery is peaceful, the climate is cool.

When standing on the pass, you will see the fields at your feet, and because of that, it will be easy for you to take complete pictures of the terraces with a modern smartphone or digital camera without necessarily using use drones.

Coming to Sa Pa, visitors will be delighted to discover the villages of ethnic groups. Here, visitors can not only admire the beautiful natural scenery but also learn about the daily life as well as the unique cultural features of the people here.
