The colorful Y Ty market attracts tourists from all over the world

Every Saturday, the Y Ty market (Bat Xat) serves as a venue for the Ha Nhi, Mong, and Dao ethnic groups to exchange goods, trade, and culture. From early Saturday morning, people of the Ha Nhi, Mong, Dao ethnic groups… in the Y Ty, A Lu, Den Sang, Trinh Tuong communes gathered at Y Ty market to exchange and buy and sell goods. Among them, the green vegetable market area is always the most crowded.

Goods sold at Y Ty market are mainly agricultural products produced by local people such as green vegetables, chayote, chili, beans, peanuts, seasonal fruits... Most of the stalls are sold by Ha Nhi women.
