From the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland, Corporal Nguyen Duc Duy, an artillery soldier, DK19 Platform said: "Watching the live ceremony, parade, and march of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on television, right in the middle of the Fatherland's open sea, we feel extremely proud of the Vietnamese people, of the heroic Vietnam People's Army, and are even more deeply aware of the value of independence and peace - the great achievements that many generations of fathers and brothers sacrificed their blood to achieve. We vow to follow in our footsteps, determined to firmly protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, so that the people can be at peace and the country can constantly develop."
