*Inaugurated and started construction of 2 bridges over Ngoi Duong stream

On the morning of September 28^th, Lao Cai city inaugurated the suspension bridge of Lang Cuong village in Ta Phoi commune and started construction of the bridge over Ngoi Duong stream in two communes Ta Phoi - Hop Thanh. This is a project to celebrate 30 years of re-establishing the province. Attending the inauguration ceremony were Mr. Do Truong Son - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council.

Inauguration of the suspension bridge over Ngoi Duong stream

In order to meet the needs and aspirations of the people when the Lang Cuong suspension bridge spanning the Ngoi Duong stream built in 1998 has been degraded, in 2020, the People's Committees of the province and the city have balanced and allocated funding for the development of the project. started construction to replace the old suspension bridge, with a total investment of over 5.4 billion VND. After more than a year of construction, Lang Cuong suspension bridge was completed on schedule and ensured traffic conditions.

The project has a length of 60 meters, the bridge deck is 2.5 meters wide. The structure of the upper part consists of the main cable, the distance between the two centers of the main bridge cable is 3.4 meters, the bridge deck is made of anti-slip steel plate. The structure of the lower part includes columns, abutments… the maximum load capacity of the bridge is 3.5 tons.

Then, the People's Committee of Lao Cai city held the groundbreaking ceremony of the suspension bridge over Ngoi Duong stream in two communes Ta Phoi - Hop Thanh.

The bridge over Ngoi Duong stream was approved by the People's Committee of Lao Cai province for investment with a global length of 43.1 meters, a width of 11 meters, permanent bridge design made of prestressed reinforced concrete. The bridge deck structure is made of 7cm thick asphalt concrete C19, the abutment is U-shaped, the road leading to Hop Thanh is 85.36 meters long, the road leading to Ta Phoi is 77 meters long. Total investment is over 11.8 billion dong.

*Pom Han Ward (Lao Cai City): Inauguration of the park - flower garden

On the morning of September 28^th, Pom Han ward, Lao Cai city held inauguration ceremony of park - flower garden to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of Lao Cai province (1/10/1991 -1/10/2021).

Leaders of Lao Cai city and Pom Han ward cut the ribbon to inaugurate the project.

The park - flower garden is located next to National Highway 4E, in group 23 of Pom Han ward, bordering Xuan Tang ward and Cam Duong commune. In the past, this area used to be a dumping ground for urban waste. To solve the above situation, the ward Party Committee has mobilized the support of nearly 900 party members who are participating in local activities according to Regulation 213 to build a small park. After nearly 2 months of construction, the work was completed with an area of ​​800m2, the total construction cost was 250 million VND, of which 173 million VND was mobilized from party members, the rest was supported by organizations and individuals.

The completed work and put into use have returned the urban beauty of the area of ​​group 23, contributing to the implementation of the "bright - green - clean - beautiful" criterion according to the general planning and development orientation of the city and of the  Pom Han ward.

*Dong Tuyen commune inaugurated playground for children

On September 27^th, Dong Tuyen Commune Youth Union held the inauguration of playground for children in Tong Mon village.

The project was implemented by union members, youth and people of Dong Tuyen commune and mobilized support from organizations and individuals. The total value of the project is nearly 100 million VND, including the following items: Renovating concrete with an area of ​​300m2, installing a system of exercise machines, stone benches…

Previously, the Lao Cai Youth Union had developed a plan to direct the Youth Union to select work contents and practical tasks, in which the focus was on building youth union’s works towards the 30th anniversary of the Lao Cai province's re-establishment day (1/10/1991-1/10/2021) and the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Youth Union (15/10/1956-15/10/2021).
