Mr. Ito Naoki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam and leaders of Bao Yen, Bac Ha and Bat Xat districts signed the aid contract.

The Embassy of Japan in Vietnam's grassroots non-refundable aid program for three localities in Lao Cai province is practical, as it helps to improve facilities and traffic infrastructure, ensure people's safety, and create favorable conditions for socioeconomic development. The Embassy of Japan's assistance is not only material but also symbolic of the deep relationship between the two countries and peoples of Vietnam and Japan. This also demonstrates the substantial cooperation between Lao Cai province and the Embassy of Japan, particularly in hilly areas with numerous challenges.

Located right in the center of the village, on a flat area, the Nam Luc Ha Village Cultural House has been a place for local people to live for many years. However, due to the impact of storm No. 3 in September 2024, the Cultural House was hit by a large tree on the slope and part of the soil and rocks collapsed, causing the house wall to collapse and seriously erode. Currently, community activities cannot take place in the Cultural House because it is not safe.
