According to Lao Cai Border Gate Customs, currently, fresh lychees from Hai Duong and Bac Giang provinces are being brought by businesses to Kim Thanh Border Gate for export to the Yunnan market (China), maintaining an average of over 100 trucks per day, with a weight of nearly 1,500 tons.

On average, nearly 1,500 tons of fresh lychee are exported through Kim Thanh Border Gate every day.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, Deputy Head of Lao Cai Border Gate Customs, said that recently, the interdisciplinary forces at the border gate (customs, border guards, quarantine...) have been working from 6 a.m. to separate traffic for vehicles carrying lychee for export, supporting customs clearance procedures for businesses.

Thanks to this, all trucks carrying lychees for export are cleared through customs every morning; trucks carrying other agricultural products for export are also supported with customs clearance procedures and reasonable traffic flow, so import and export activities take place smoothly and quickly.
