Hoang Lien National Park is located on the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, with a total area of 28,498 hectares, belonging to the two provinces Lao Cai and Lai Chau. This is an area of particularly important biodiversity value, which is the home to thousands of rare species of animals and plants.

In addition to its ecological value, Hoang Lien National Park also has many outstanding tourist destinations such as the route to conquer Fansipan peak - "the roof of Indochina", the Suoi Vang stream - Tinh Yeu waterfall area, the route to explore the primeval forest, etc.
