11 works won the contest "Beautiful photos of Lao Cai 2022"

The contest "Beautiful photos of Lao Cai 2022" assigned by the Provincial People's Committee for the Department of Culture and Sports of Lao Cai to organize has selected 11 excellent works to be awarded.

This is the event in the series of activities to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the founding of Lao Cai province (July 12, 1907 - July 12, 2022) to introduce and promote culture, tourism, economy and society of the locality and create a valuable source of photos and documents for the province.

After nearly 2 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 1,116 works from 177 authors across the country to participate.

Through 4 rounds of judging, the jury selected 11 best works to award prizes; in which, there are 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes.

According to the assessment of the jury, the works for the "Beautiful photos of Lao Cai 2022" contest have captured moments of life, diverse in topics, rich in content, and close to reality.

Second prize: Photo series "Lao Cai city has changed after more than 30 years of re-establishing the province", by Pham Bang (Lao Cai Newspaper).

Second prize: Photo series "Unique Then Khoan festival of Tay Van Ban people", by Phan Huy Thiep (Hanoi).

Third Prize: Photo series "The forest worshiping ritual of the black Ha Nhi people in Y Ty", by Duong Quoc Toan (Lao Cai).

Third Prize: Photo series "Fansipan on a snowy day", by Nguyen Van Thi (Hanoi).
Third Prize: The work "Going to the finish line", by Tran Anh Tuyen (Tran Tuyen) (Hanoi).
