Lao Cai has 37 communes, 920 villages meeting new rural standards and model standards

After the merger, the movement to build new rural areas in the province continues to be widely and deeply deployed, achieving many positive results, that contribute to changing the rural appearance and improve the material and spiritual life of the People.

 

The whole province currently has 387 villages meeting "New Rural Village" standards, 533 villages meeting "Model Village" standards, of which 132 villages belong to extremely difficult, border communes. Up to now, 37/89 communes of the province have met new rural standards, accounting for 41.6% of the total number of communes, of which Quy Mong commune met advanced new rural standards.

Simultaneously, the movement to build cultural life continues to be promoted, with over 85.5% of households achieving the recognized cultural-standard title, 77.5% of villages, residential groups achieving cultural standards; 100% of residential areas have properly issued and implemented community conventions and rules.

In the coming time, to promoting achieved results, the province will continue to effectively implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; promote propaganda and mobilization of People to participate in patriotic emulation movements, social security activities. At the same time, innovating propaganda methods, utilizing digital platforms and social networks to spread good models and creative ways; promoting the subject role of people according to the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit".
