Unique paper horse dancing of the Nung Din people

In the flow of modern life, in the highland villages of Tung Chung Pho commune (Muong Khuong), there are many cultural beauties of ethnic minorities, one of which is paper horse dancing. This is a unique traditional art form of the Nung Din ethnic group.
Paper horses are made from bamboo and apricot trees in the forest and decorated with colorful paper.
Only men can knit and shape, glued with colorful paper, to create complete paper horses.
The work of making paper horses requires ingenuity, meticulousness and hard work.
Originally, the paper horse dancing used to be a ritual sacrifice in the funeral of the Nung Din people, today this dance is performed in mass cultural festivals and even on happy occasions in the village.
On the occasion of freetime, choosing flat lands, the people have fun with the paper horse dance.
Through the ingenuity of the dancers, the paper horses express many different emotions, sometimes slowly, sometimes thrill and strong.
In order to preserve the cultural beauty of the nation, the Nung Din children today also follow their fathers and uncles to learn how to dance with paper horses.
