Highlights of the Art Program "Celebrating the National Day"

On the evening of April 30, Lao Cai City People's Committee solemnly organized a special art program with the theme "Celebrating the national festival", welcoming the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).


Attending the program were Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; former provincial leaders; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and organizations of the province; Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai city; delegation of Ha Khau district, Yunnan province (China) along with a large number of people in the province and tourists.

The program was a cultural and artistic activity with profound meaning, expressing gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; at the same time honoring the great achievements in the cause of building and defending the country over the past 50 years.

The art program "Celebrating the National Festival" was elaborately staged, consisting of three special chapters. Chapter I - "Under the Party Flag - Following His Footsteps" with the songs: The Party Flag, Ho Chi Minh, His Name Is the Most Beautiful... Chapter II - "The Epic of Unification" with the songs: Spring Train Track, Lullaby of the Country, Joyful Country... Chapter III - "Lao Cai Reaches for Integration and Development" with the songs: The River of Kapok Flowers, My City of Lao Cai, The Young City We Love, The City Like a Flying Dragon...


The art program took place in a public area, Trang A Pao Street, Kim Tan Ward, Lao Cai City.

With the participation of many famous artists, actors and singers such as People's Artist Pham Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Luong Nguyet Anh, and singers Tien Hung, Dinh Dung... brought profound performances but also full of spirit and pride.


A large number of people and tourists attended, immersing themselves in the heroic, proud and emotional atmosphere of the great festival. The images, sounds and emotions of the art night contributed to arousing the belief, national pride and will to rise in every Vietnamese person today.
