More than 1,600 vehicles carrying goods cleared through Kim Thanh Border Gate

During the 5-day holiday on April 30 and May 1 (from April 30 to May 4), the authorities at Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. II (Kim Thanh Border Gate) completed customs clearance procedures for 1,625 vehicles carrying import and export goods.

Of which, 1,084 vehicles carry imported goods, 541 vehicles carry exported goods (on average, the number of vehicles carrying imported and exported goods cleared through Kim Thanh Border Gate is 325 vehicles/day).

The main import and export items are agricultural products, fresh fruits, machinery and equipment, chemicals, fertilizers, plywood...

Import-export turnover during the 5-day holiday reached over 12.7 million USD.

The functional forces maintain sufficient numbers of personnel according to regulations to serve import and export activities.

Although it was a holiday, the state management agency and forces at Kim Thanh Border Gate maintained sufficient personnel according to regulations, ensuring procedures for import-export businesses were handled; goods were cleared and transported quickly, conveniently and safely.

Goods are cleared smoothly.

It is known that since the beginning of the year, nearly 500 enterprises have participated in import and export activities of goods through Kim Thanh Border Gate.

The provincial authorities will always accompany and create favorable conditions for businesses to conduct import and export activities through the province, in order to promote socio-economic development and increase state budget revenue.
