Lao Cai: Total investment capital from the state budget reached nearly 1,807 billion Vietnamese Dong
According to the Provincial Statistics Office, in May 2025, the total investment capital implemented from the state budget managed by localities in the province reached nearly 415 billion Vietnamese Dong, an increase of 4.44% over the same period last year.
Construction works and projects are being accelerated by contractors.
Of which, provincial-level state budget capital reached more than Vietnamese Dong 233 billion, accounting for 56.29% of total capital, up 5.05% over the same period last year; district-level state budget capital reached more than Vietnamese Dong 181 billion, accounting for 43.71%, up 3.67%.
In the first 5 months of 2025, the total investment capital implemented from the state budget managed by localities reached nearly 1,807 billion Vietnamese Dong, an increase of 5.58% over the same period last year, reaching 30.61% of the annual plan, of which, the provincial state budget capital reached over 959 billion Vietnamese Dong, an increase of 3.35% and reaching 16.25% of the annual plan; the district state budget capital reached 847.5 billion Vietnamese Dong, an increase of 8.22% over the same period last year.
