About 20 km from the center of Sa Pa town, Seo My Ty (Ta Van commune) is located halfway up Fansipan mountain, at an altitude of more than 1,600 m above sea level. Mentioning Sa Pa, people often think of famous tourist destinations such as Fansipan peak, Muong Hoa valley or Cat Cat village. However, about 20km southeast of Sa Pa town center, there is a commune called Hau Thao appearing like a watercolor painting where the pristine beauty and indigenous culture are still fully preserved.
Sa Pa is blessed with a cool, fresh climate, which is a paradise of flowers in full bloom displaying their colors. Among them, perhaps the easiest flower to grow and care for here is the wild rose (climbing rose). In this season, no matter where or which road in Sa Pa, wild roses are brilliantly blooming. Wild roses contribute to beautifying the landscape of Sa Pa National Tourist Area while also creating a highlight to attract tourists.
